宇盛食品有限公司的前身為民國65年張水木先生所成立的張水木食品行，那時正值台灣經濟蓬勃發展之美好年代。也隨當時候國民所得及社會快速發展之需要，台灣各地各式餐廳及飯店如雨後春筍般的開業，可謂餐飲業的黃金時期。在當時以廣東菜系為招待宴請之主流的市場，紅寶石餐廳做為台灣第一家開業的粵式頂級餐廳，想展示粵菜燒臘中最經典之菜餚，同時也是滿漢大餐之一的烤乳豬。從商之前的張水木先生原以農務維生，因為人正直且守信結交了許多良友，在好友的推薦及自身的努力下，成功替餐廳解決了原材料的難題，也因如此良緣開啟了張董事長的商業之路。
該事業後來交接給其子張文政先生，在其努力下了解企業轉型之重要，成立了該公司的熟食生產部，隨事業的成長及配合政府相關法令，也將原張水木食品行於民國81年公司重新註冊為宇盛食品有限公司至今，且積極開拓市場並與各地同業共同合作，替公司產品銷售及開發打下良好之基礎。
宇盛食品有限公司已經度過了四十有餘個年頭，這期間也榮幸參與熱門節目〝美食大三通〞的節目採訪與大大小小的光榮時刻，宇盛食品感謝這麼多年來與我們合作的各五星級飯店，我們必將精益求精，未來繼續替台灣社會提供高品質原材料。
Formerly known as Chang Shui-Mu Food Corporation, Yeu Cherng Foods Co., Ltd. was founded by Mr. Chang Shui-Mu in 1976 when Taiwan was having a booming economy.
To satisfy the needs derived from the rapid growth of citizens’ income and social development, all types of restaurants and hotels successively sprung up and created the golden period of food and beverage industry. At the time, Cantonese cuisine wasthe mainstream market for receiving guests and Taiwan’s first topnotch Cantonese restaurant, Hong Bao Shi Restaurant, desired to demonstrate the most classic Cantonese roast meat cuisine and one of the Manchu Han Imperial Feast dishes: roast suckling pig. Before becoming a businessman, Mr. Chang Shui-Mu made a living with farming. As he is an upright person with good faith, he managed to have many good friends who recommended him to solve the raw material issue for the restaurant. With his efforts and friends assistance, he succeeded in solving the problem and started to do business.
The business was passed to his son, Mr. Chang Wen-Cheng who established the Food Production Department for cookedfood as he understood the importance of business transformation. Following the business growth and for the purpose of complying with government regulations, Mr. Chang Wen-Cheng re-registered Chang Shui-Mu Food Corporation as Yeu Cherng Foods Co., Ltd. in 1992. With his proactive efforts in developing the market and cooperating with nationwide players from the industry, Yeu Cherng Foods Co., Ltd. nowadays has a good foundation for product sales and development.
Today, Yeu Cherng Foods Co., Ltd. has been established for over 40 years. During this period, it was honored to be interviewed by the popular TV program “The Three Big Links to Food” and some other programs. Yeu Cherng Foods Co., Ltd. also thanks to the five-star hotels that have been cooperating with us over the years: from the Sheraton Hotels and Resorts that witness the Taiwan economic miracle to the newly established Mandarin Oriental Hotel. With their support, we will strive for perfection and to continuously provide high-quality raw materials to our society.
